SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Whether you are passing through, attending a wedding, or planning a stay-cation, make a weekend of your visit! There are so many wonderful things to do in St Jacobs while you;re here. Here are some of our favs!

St. Jacobs Farmer's Market - head to the world famous market, eat a fritter or six, and stock up on happy hour snacks. It's open Thursdays and Saturdays!

Breweries and biergardens - Block 3 is literally in our parking lot, making it easy to get home after a few refreshing brews. The Village Biergarten is also just down the street, serving up authentic kick-ass tacos.

Village shopping  - whether for local goodies, snacks, or apparel- our favs are La Creme and the Butcher Market! So many great find you can't find elsewhere!

Cafes + coffee - Eco Cafe has a patio with a view over the river- it's absolute bliss in the morning. And Lenjo at the Shed whips up tasty pastries to accompany that caffeine hit.

Grand River Trails - backyard access from Hotel 52 with views you'll fall in love with! The trail system is huge and you could walk for miles!

Antique Hunting - we have found some GEMS for this hotel doing this at the many unique antique shops in and around St. Jacobs.

Riverside Picnics - you can hire these awesome companies to set up a ridiculous elaborate picnics for you and your best gals, like @theelorapicnicco. We have seen memories (and  even some wedding proposals) made here!

Canoeing The Grand - an awesome shuttle drops you at a start point and picks you up (hell no to the portage - unless you want to). You can pack a picnic, too (or we can for you. . .)! For more info, visit https://canoeingthegrand.com

Sugar Bush Tours - Get ready for an afternoon sleigh ride & maple syrup tasting (weather permitting, of course). Have your thermos of hot apple cider ready (don't worry, we can spike it)! For more info, visit  https://stjacobshorsedrawntours.com/mapleSugarBushTours.html

River Horseback Riding Adventures - either hilarious or romantic, whatever suits you...

One Axe Pursuits - it's a 15 min drive to Elora but makes the perfect day trip! Lunch in Elora followed by a zip line through the Gorge. The Friendly Society has the best weekend brunch! For more info, visit https://www.oneaxepursuits.com

Local Festivals - from Sparkles, to Kultrun Music Festival, to the Maple Syrup Festival in Elmira, and even Riverfest in Elora, there's something to discover all year long!
